I’m Robert Wade, the founder of the Wade Media Research Group and the lead tester here at Housewares Review.

With a background in systems optimization and a lifelong obsession with durable gear, I started this site to help homeowners stop wasting money on "disposable" appliances. My goal is to find the intersection of innovation, durability, and value. Whether I’m disassembling a vacuum to check its motor or measuring the decibel levels of a new fan, I provide the data you need to make an informed decision.
